Terms & Conditions
Fusion Dance Academy – Terms & Conditions
By enrolling a dancer at Fusion Dance Academy, parents/guardians agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These are in place to ensure a safe, respectful, and professional environment for all dancers.
1. Uniform & Appearance
- The official Fusion Dance Academy uniform must be worn at all times unless otherwise stated.
- Hair must be tied back and kept off the face at all times.
- If hair is likely to fall out, it must be secured more tightly. This is for safety, discipline, and focus.
- Failure to comply with uniform and hair requirements may result in the dancer being asked to sit out until corrected.
2. Costumes
- All dance costumes must be agreed upon by Jazz before purchase.
- Parents must not order, alter, or replace costumes without prior approval.
- This ensures consistency, suitability, and adherence to competition regulations.
3. Competition Tickets & Payments
- Competition tickets must be paid for in CASH at the time of ordering to secure tickets.
- Tickets will not be ordered or processed unless payment is received in full at the time of ordering.
- Competition tickets will not be released to anyone with an outstanding balance on their account.
- Fusion Dance Academy is not responsible for tickets not ordered due to late or missing payment.
4. Class Attendance & Punctuality
- Students must arrive promptly and ready to begin at the scheduled start time.
- Lessons run back-to-back, therefore timely collection is essential.
- Late arrivals and delayed collections disrupt lessons and are unfair to other students.
5. Parents, Siblings & Class Etiquette
- No parents are permitted in classes whatsoever, unless previously agreed directly with Jazz.
- Do not assume permission — confirmation must be given in advance.
- Older siblings must not remain in the hall during younger siblings’ classes, as this can be distracting and off-putting for the children.
- If there is any issue with your child, Jazz will contact you immediately.
6. Mobile Phones
- No mobile phones are to be used during classes.
- Arrangements for collection or contact must be made in advance.
- Dancers may check their phones only at the end of the lesson.
- Phone use during class is not permitted, unless in a genuine emergency.
7. Communication & Conduct
- Parents must not confront Jazz during or between lessons.
- This is unfair to the children and disrupts teaching time.
- If you need to speak with Jazz, you must message directly between 4:00pm – 9:00pm, Monday to Thursday.
- Messages will be responded to as soon as possible.
- Non-urgent matters must wait until appropriate contact hours.
- Genuine emergencies will, of course, be dealt with as soon as possible.
8. General Expectations
- Respect for the teacher, students, and school policies is expected at all times.
- Fusion Dance Academy reserves the right to refuse participation or take appropriate action if these Terms & Conditions are not adhered to.
9. Group Chat & Communication Platforms
- All Fusion Dance Academy group chats and communication platforms are strictly for Fusion Dance Academy purposes only.
- These platforms are to be used solely for official Fusion Dance Academy information, including class updates, events, competitions, and matters that directly benefit the school.
- Advertising or promotion of personal businesses, services, products, events, or other dance companies is strictly prohibited.
- Sharing items for sale, recommendations, or content that may be of general interest but does not directly relate to Fusion Dance Academy is not permitted.
- No advertisements and no promotion of other companies may be posted under any circumstances.
- Fusion Dance Academy reserves the right to remove inappropriate content and/or remove members from group chats without notice if these rules are not adhered to.
10. Drinks & Hydration
- All children must bring an appropriate drink to lessons.
- Drinks should be clearly labelled and suitable for physical activity.
- No fizzy drinks or energy drinks are permitted.
- Fusion Dance Academy is not responsible for children who do not bring a drink to class.
